The territory

Our farm is located in the heart of the Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni National Park, recognized as a UNESCO heritage site, precisely in the municipality of Roccadaspide. We are immersed in an enchanted natural environment, surrounded by chestnut and oak woods, and enveloped in the scents of the Mediterranean scrub.

Our property extends over 30 hectares in an area contiguous to the National Park, of which we are proud concessionaires of the protection label. We are committed to preserving the pristine and wild natural environment that surrounds us, using sustainable agricultural techniques and organic certificates for our crops, livestock and land.

For over 40 years, our family, the Gasparro family, has dedicated itself with passion and dedication to caring for the land and producing high quality products, promoting them through our store. We are proud to offer our customers high quality, authentic and healthy products, the result of our long experience in the sector.

The ancient Pelatella breed


The Pelatella breed is an ancient native pig variety of Campania, belonging to one of the six historic Italian pig breeds, already known in Roman times. The breeding of Razza Pelatella pigs has always been the flagship of our company, which is passionately dedicated to safeguarding this native breed.

This is a highly prestigious native breed, which represents a real historical and cultural heritage of the Campania pig tradition. The word "pelatella" comes from the term "pelata", which indicates bare skin, without hair. The Pelatella breed has a characteristic slate-grey pigmentation of the skin, with a few sparse and thin bristles arranged on the body in small localized tufts. This morphological peculiarity gives the pig a unique and recognizable appearance, which contributes to its cultural identity and its prestige in the agri-food scene.

Pelatella cured meats are a unique taste experience. The traditional and artisanal processing, combined with the quality of the raw materials, guarantees the production of cured meats of the highest quality. The Antica Razza Pelatella cured meats we produce are characterized by an intense and aromatic flavour, enhanced by the organoleptic properties of the native breed.


The meat of our pigs is characterized by its unique organoleptic properties. The abundant and soft fat melts in the mouth, enhancing the precious aromatic qualities and the typical aromas of this breed of black pig. Our cured meats, in particular, are characterized by a strong and slightly aromatic flavour, which makes them unique in their kind.
